Nopherhole attended the Car as Art Concours de’Elegance on the Kansas City Art Institute grounds.

While the heat was enough to melt tin, the aluminum, steel and leather and yes, some vinyl held up. Nopherhole is hoping to draw some readers to BubbleBoot. And there will be good stuff there.

Aha, but first, weedhead politics!

Politics has rung the death nell on electric cars, at least electric cars that run on electricity.

Before nopherhole jumps the gun, remember that only the weedheads passed the bill in the House. And all of this is based on the premise that human beings expire deadly gases from our lungs. That’s the mental Snake River Canyon jump certain weedheads make from the Clean Air Act. To be regulated, Carbon Dioxide must be defined as a deadly gas under the Act.

Some weedheads say ignore the intent of the law. But if the EPAy’ers define Carbon Dioxide as poisonous gas, it must first be regulated at ground level where humans are exposed to the gas’ highest levels, like the gymnasium at the basketball game. Or at the Nascar track. Or the backyard Barbeque.

Miniscule amounts of carbon dioxide in the air at the tops of mountains they say will cause massive shifts in climate. But the amount of climate impact was greater when the moon exploded off the surface of the earth and the hundreds of years of rain filled the ocean, and the supercontinent of Nopherholyhell began slowly migrating around the world.

We know the climate changes. Remnants of forests are fossilized beneath deserts, massive inland seas provided nourishment for the Pteradons, and Ronald Reagan ruled the world.

Nopherhole lied. The best consensus science, that is, science arrived at by a bunch of people guessing, says the winter temperatures will rise maybe a couple of degrees. Luckily for England, Ireland and America, we stuck with the Fahrenheit system, so the impact will be less.

Nopherhole lied again. It’s Climate Change. Thermometers will need to be designed to vary as quickly as your Acura’s tachometer.

The example that the EPAy might be able to extend is the “regulation out of existence of Chlorofluorcarbons.”  These chemicals had many uses including halon fire extinguishing systems. Obviously, the Act takes priority over saving burning materials. [misleading, but oh heck, nopherhole can do politics too.] And now the ozone hole, which was first detected during the National Geophysical Year in the 1950’s, is not effected. This is easily explained because the atmosphere over the northern hemisphere exerts its changes on the southern hemisphere in a very remote way.

Luckily, most advanced economies with vast wealth in the northern hemisphere can help the third world countries at and south of the equator.

As explained in earlier posts, nopherhole is a technology fan and would truly like to drive an electric car. After all, being on the cutting edge with a 1982 diesel Toyota pickup smashed by a climate-tossed tree, a 1984 diesel Toyota Corolla that refused to run when the temperature was below four degrees Fahrenheit. [This would be huge negative number in Celsius.] The 1987 Suzuki Samurai that was viciously attacked by Consumer Reports. Any mechanical engineer knows that greatly increasing the moment of inertia with the huge outriggers fitted to test cars caused them to tilt. I still want to know how many cars rollover in the world due to bad roads or driving and compare that to toilet testers verdict on the simple Samurai. The Chrysler LeBaron convertible with its marvelous body longevity, until T-boned at an intersection. The low fronted Dodge Intrepid that took out a twelve point buck two miles from my home. My offspring’s Cutlas Supreme that slid off a snowy road smashing its right side and permanently sealing the right front door.

Now nopherhole’s spouse’ VW Turbo lost a hub cap.

And finally, my wonderful Prius, that nopherhole is told contributes to the pollution at the nickel mines in Canada.

Grains of sand – Obama’s budgets and wet dreams

Nopherhole decided to count the grains of sand represented by Obama’s budgets. Just trying to imagine how big the budget numbers really are.

Choosing an arbitrary $5 trillion dollars in Obama’s first budget and growing it for twenty years [a Democrat wet dream], the total spent is approximated $229 trillion dollars.

How many grains of sand is 229 trillion? According to Wiki, sand ranges up to 2mm, or approximately 3.5 million grains of sand per cubic feet.

Nopherhole lives a couple miles from the Kaw or Kansas River. To a depth of one foot and a wetted width of approximately 100 feet, the entire length of the Kansas River’s top layer of sand would be gone under Obama’s budget. The 21st longest river in the United States could be dredged and still fall short of the desired 229 trillion grains.

Disclaimer – during floods, the Kansas River grows to miles wide.

Nopherhole believes that Kansas River sand is coarser than beach sand. In fact is it excellent construction sand being consider “sharp.” Think of sharp as the opposite of marbles or BB’s [do kids know what BB’s are?]

Consider the beaches in Florida then. The Atlantic side, nopherhole believes, has sand coarser than the white confectioners sand of the gulf. Use the same type of estimate about rivers – that the difference usually between high tide and low tide makes the beach 100 feet wider or narrower – Florida has 1100 miles of beach. To get to Obama’s wet dream of grains of sand would take more than 11% of Florida’s beaches.

Chicago in running for Olympics in 2016 – Selection Committee members’ home countries threatened with General Motors shutdown of plants

The following could be true:
Decision makers in the Olympic Games selection committee were threatened with losing jobs associated with General Motors if games are not held in Chicago according to a former neighborhood coordinator. Obama’s firing of GM’s CEO Wagoner is seen as a power move by the Administration to control all aspects of life on Earth.

Chicago’s infamous politics has also been heard from. The Daley political machine used part of $1 billion of Chicago federal stimulus funds to pave streets around potential Chicago Olympic site in time for Olympic selection committee final visit on April 2, 2009.

From March 30, 2009 WBBM web site – “IOC site selection personnel will arrive in Chicago Thursday for a week-long stay.  The IOC will choose the 2016 host city in October.”

According to Forbes.com in a March 25, 2009 article, Chicago has more potential hurdles or “potential minefields to traverse” than other cities in running including Madrid, Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro. Also, within the past four weeks, two little discussed kerfuffles have reared their heads.

One, the allocation of revenues from the games are the subject of intense negotiations with the International Olympic Committee, and;

Two, the sudden replacement of the United States Olympic Committee chair[?] with inexperienced Stephanie Streeter[sp]. The suddenness and the $500k salary have upset many of the 1500 delegates meeting in Denver this week. See her curriculum vitae here. Streeter’s former company has ties worldwide. Since leaving, her company has been acquired by RR Donnelley who has seen its stock drop from the $30 range to about $5 in the past year.

The host country is allowed to designate a local sport to be included in the games. The choice is between “popping a cap” and bowling. The Forbes article mentions the popularity of Obama as a factor.

Size of Government – Take every dollar from the Billionaires

Quote from Forbes list of the World’s richest.      “The net worth of the world’s billionaires fell from $4.4 trillion to $2.4 trillion, while the number of billionaires was down to 793 from 1,125.”

Nopherhole lost money at about the same ratio, but the math intrigues nopherhole.

If the US government took all the money, not the income, but the lifetime wealth, it would last through the budget month of January.

Obama’s Appointment of Chief Information Officer – Office Raided by FBI

Federal agents this morning are searching the Judiciary Square office of Washington, D.C.’s Chief Technology Officer.

The search is part of “an ongoing investigation,” said a spokeswoman for the FBI’s D.C. Field Office, Lindsay Gotwin, said. She declined to comment further.

Vivek Kundra, was appointed last week Chief Information Officer by the Obama administration. His last day at the city government office was February 4, a spokeswoman for D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty, Leslie Kershaw, said.

“We know the FBI is over there but that’s all we know,” said a staffer in the D.C. CTO’s office, Mario Field, who was working from a separate location. Another source familiar with the raid said the FBI had sent all staffers other than senior executives home for the day.

Nopherhole joked about this new position in the Obama Administration last week on Ann Coulter’s Blog and was shot down by other commenters. After all, what intrigue could there be concerning this new position? Nopherhole’s comments were a farce, but backed up by real comments and stories of the last few days.

[By the way, my absurdity was that the federal Information Officer would develop software to bypass the daily fax that dictated the day’s news, and go directly to the brains of the media through some technology. Some media, in my absurdity, were in the beta version, while rumor had it that CNN was running on the gold version. Ben Franklin is credited with this phrase, but nopherhole thinks this meaning goes back further. Read the fictional accounts of the times when the Cathedrals were built. A penny was a day’s wages. Therfore, the wisdom is more steeped in meaning than that for which it is given.

Meat and potatoes – Time for a Depression diet

Nopherhole is not a Vegan. I like to kill plants to eat  them as much as the next blogger.

But is it a lifestyle choice to be forced by your finances to eat meat only once a week? When a hunting and fishing license may help feed the family?

“Victory Garden” has morphed in this generation from a planter to a New Age,  “dope smoking, plastic banana, good time rock and roller FM type” tv viewer.

A real Victory Garden helps feed people when times are tough. Do you like Okra and Turnips? This time the white people will suffer, not the “typical” minorities and women.

Typical refers here to the old joke headline, “World Ends Tomorrow, Women and Minorities Hit Worst.”

Predictions – Exact timing of Stock Market Recovery

Nopherhole used to work for an ESOP. This is where the company is owned by the employees, and they share in the profits.

It’s a lie, at least where I worked. No profits were designated except to several preferred owners who supposedly put up the capital to buy the company. The preferred owners designated that they would recover their money according to an amortized schedule, one that ate all the profits.

Now comes the prediction. The stock market is being taken over by debt. And they get paid first. They decide what the company’s profits are by predetermining what their take is. That means that until they get paid back, the capital markets get nothing.

Give them about seven years, and the ownership percentage starts to become undeniable and the stock starts coming back. Look at the sideways market during the seventies. 1974 to 1982. 8 years. Except this time, the federal government doesn’t plan to give anything to the owners.

Until Obama and his worshippers are gone, nopherhole predicts there is no chance for the stock market to go up. 

Obama must be GONE POLITICALLY.
